About Me

Hello! I'm Sabrina, a designer, mom, and immigrant from Brazil, currently living in Canada. As a child, I was one of those kids who would draw non-stop, fueled by inspiration from comic magazines. However, like many children, I eventually stopped drawing and pursued a career in communications and design.

After the birth of my first daughter, I decided to reignite my passion for drawing. I purchased a tablet, studied illustration, and it was during the pandemic that I conceived the idea for this book. The inspiration came from observing my daughter, who, at just one and a half years old, embarked on a sweet journey riding a red scooter as fast as she could, bringing joy to even the darkest and most hopeless days.

Witnessing how she inspired not only us but also her friends, I realized the potential for the story to encourage other children, especially girls, to play freely outside. This book is a celebration of the simple joys and boundless imagination that can brighten our lives.
